Matrix Mono to kinkiet zaprojektowany przez Yaacova Kaufmana. Pomysł przyszedł mu do głowy podczas badań nad mechanizmem tarcia. Okrągły element ścienny i elastyczne, regulowane stalowe ramiona oraz gniazdo E27 na ich końcu - to elementy kinkietu, które przyciągają wzrok swoją prostotą. W zależności od wyboru iluminanta, oprawa może być zmieniona w wyglądzie. Ramię lampy jest ruchome.
Izraelski projektant przemysłowy i naukowiec Yaacov Kaufman zaprojektował serię lamp Matrix już w 2000 roku dla włoskiego producenta lamp Lumina. Produkty Lumina charakteryzują się trwałością i bardzo wysoką jakością. Są one produkowane we Włoszech, a Lumina przywiązuje dużą wagę do zrównoważonego rozwoju przy wyborze i zakupie materiałów, a także w produkcji, a nawet w opakowaniach. Materiały potrzebne do produkcji oświetlenia pochodzą głównie ze źródeł lokalnych, wymagana energia jest w dużej mierze generowana przez panele słoneczne, a do produkcji opakowań używane są tylko materiały nadające się do recyklingu.

This strikingly simple Matrix Mono Wall Lamp dimmable was designed by Yaacov Kaufman for the Italian lighting manufacturer Lumina.
Lumina was established by Tommaso Cimini back in 1975 following the success of his first lamp the Daphine at the Fiera Campionaria in Milan the previous year. In the ensuing years, the firm has consistently achieved its objectives of developing lighting solutions that blend minimalist elegance with supreme functionality. Many of the firm's creations were designed by the leading designers of the day who brought their own unique vision to fashion-exquisite and practical lamps that add prestige, beauty and quality lighting to contemporary settings.
A fine example of the company's minimalist design approach, the Matrix Mono Wall Lamp dimmable comprises a bare bulb set in a holder which is affixed to a wall plate by an adjustable arm. The arm can be moved for personalisation. Further flexibility is offered by the external dimmer and the lamp is fashioned from nickel-plated metal for durability. It measures 30cm in height with a diameter of 11cm. Simple, flexible and stylish, the Matrix Mono Wall Lamp dimmable is a perfect ambient or task lighting solution for any room.
